Un control estricto a los incrementos en los peajes teniendo en cuenta que aún el país sigue soportando las consecuencias de la pandemia y que el sector empresarial no ha logrado la normalidad en sus actividades pidió la Federación de Empresarios del Transportes de Carga, Fedetranscarga, y Colfecar al Gobierno Nacional.
Señalan los gremios que el sector transportador no puede asumir incrementos en las tarifas de peajes por encima de la inflación, ni más aumentos en el combustible, debido a que estos dos rubros representan el 46,82% de los costos operativos del transporte de carga.
En este sentido, la presidenta de Colfecar, Nidia Hernández, aseguró que consideran inconveniente “autorizar nuevas alzas cuando aún no hemos iniciado la primera etapa de vacunación para salir de la pandemia y lograr la recuperación de los sectores económicos”.
Indicó que únicamente a través de la concertación es como se conseguirá que haya una regulación en materia de peajes y reiteró que no respalda las vías de hecho puesto que esto solo afecta al transporte y al país.
