En Colombia hemos venido padeciendo muchas pandemias, entre ellas la corrupción. No hemos sido capaces de encontrar una inyección que nos ayude a combatirla, pues todas las instituciones están contagiadas.

La Reforma Tributaria presentada por el Gobierno no solo ha sido el florero de Llorente, por el cual el país entero se ha levantado en marchas y protestas por todo el territorio colombiano, sino el continuo saqueo del erario público por parte de quienes integran el mismo Gobierno, que sin medir las consecuencias de las difíciles circunstancias en plena pandemia se atrevió a defender el proyecto debido a un supuesto déficit presupuestal.
Igual que aquel 20 de julio de 1810, la protesta se hizo viral. Desde luego, bajo diferentes condiciones. Hoy la gente está más despierta e infortunadamente para el gobierno, el pueblo no le va a permitir un desafuero más. La verdad es que gobierno tras gobierno, todos dicen los mismo: “Vamos a implementar medidas que nos lleven a terminar con la corrupción……, vamos a crear reformas sustanciales para generar empleo…, vamos a construir una mejor nación…,”. Nunca, nada de esto se cumple. Solo son discursos de más con el objetivo de ganar adeptos dentro de un pueblo que ayude a la clase rica a sostener el andamiaje que se encierra dentro de la mal llamada democracia.
Hoy se hace más evidente un nuevo Grito de Independencia. Sí. Una nueva clase de individuos que estén al frente de las diferentes corporaciones públicas. No más de los mismos. No más Pastranas, ni Turbays, ni Uribes, ni los que señale Uribe, ni payasos.
Iván Duque nunca se imaginó que el país se le iba a salir de las manos. Desde luego que el país ya se le estaba saliendo desde hacía mucho rato. Solo que, se estaba esperando una salida más en falso, y allí vino la salida del pueblo, para exigir del gobierno el cumplimiento de tantas promesas incumplidas. A Duque le está pasando lo que le sucede a los payasos del circo: si no hace bien las cosas, el cliente le hace levantar la carpa. Y hoy, el pueblo le está pidiendo eso mismo: Levante su circo y se va con todos sus ayudantes. Hoy, por vez primera y desde que me conozco, están sucediendo cosas atroces en mi país. Es una lástima que yo no me encuentre allí, pues sería uno más de los que estaría exigiendo del gobierno no que cumpla ya con sus promesas, sino que renuncie.
De otro lado, con indignación veo que, en los cuatro puntos cardinales de Colombia, no sale ningún politiquero para unirse al pueblo. Por el contrario, veo con rabia, cómo muchos están aprovechando la coyuntura para sacar provecho del río. Qué manera tan nefasta de darse a conocer. Este tipo de individuos tampoco le van a servir a la democracia colombiana.
Es justo que el pueblo haga sus reclamos. Obviamente, desde la base del respeto. Sin embargo, el Gobierno no ha respetado al pueblo que lo eligió. Ni éste ni los anteriores. El pueblo siempre ha sido limitado en sus pedidos. Dentro del mismo Gobierno se hace uso de las herramientas para combatir a aquellos que se manifiesten en contra de sus pretensiones personales. No hay manera de expresar ese sentimiento. No hay democracia.
Con la salida del ministro de Hacienda, Alberto Carrasquilla, Duque pretende lavarse las manos. No se lo vamos a permitir. Lo mismo sucedió como por ejemplo con Uribe, cuando se dio de baja a una cantidad de personas a quienes los militares los tildaban de subversivos. ¿Qué hizo Alvaro? Sencillo: destituyó a unos cuantos generales e hizo algunos cambios dentro de la cúpula y “problema arreglado.”
Desde la distancia, me uno al clamor de todos mis compatriotas. Pedimos la renuncia de Iván Duque, así como de todos sus ministros. Si Duque quería ganar adeptos dentro del Partido que le dio su “aval”, tuvo en sus manos la oportunidad de hacerlo: bajar el salario exorbitante de Congresistas, reducir el número de los mismos y, lo más importante, castigar al corrupto. Estoy seguro que solo con estos tres puntos, se ahorraría el dinero que estaba pidiendo en la nefasta reforma, que de antemano conocía. Lo malo de todo esto, es que el Gobierno siempre se imagina que el pueblo es bruto y todo se lo traga. Como ha sucedido con los anteriores gobiernos. Y pensar que pueblos hermanos como Ecuador, Perú y Bolivia, no se la han dejado montar.
Esperemos a ver qué propuesta trae el nuevo ministro José Manuel Restrepo. Creo que la situación también va ser compleja, porque el pueblo busca es la renuncia tanto de Duque como de todo su gabinete.
Finalmente me pregunto: ¿Cómo va a responder el gobierno por la cantidad de muertos durante la protesta, así como también quienes van a fallecer por el virus? Porque todo esto lo generó el gobierno.
