Las ventas de monitores especializados para “Gaming” han alcanzado crecimiento en ventas hasta de 623% en Latinoamérica
No solo en Colombia, sino en el mundo el segmento de videojuegos ha crecido entre un 15% y 20%, por cuenta de las extensas cuarentenas que se han experimentado durante la pandemia por Covid-19. Además de los ya conocidos cambios de hábitos como el teletrabajo y la teleeducación, los colombianos han encontrado también en los videojuegos una nueva afición, que ya no distingue entre géneros o edades y más bien ha agregado a otros miembros de la familia como los padres, que cada vez más se apropian de estas formas de entretenimiento.
Así lo confirma Luz Dary Mora, Territory Manager de Viewsonic para Colombia, quien afirma que debido a este fenómeno las ventas de monitores especializados para “Gaming” han alcanzado crecimiento de ventas hasta de 623% en Latinoamérica. “Sin duda cifras nunca antes vistas, que no solo están ampliando el mercado, sino también las exigencias de los consumidores, que ahora necesitan más sofisticación técnica en sus monitores”.
“Bajo este panorama hemos documentado dos tipos de jugadores, los profesionales, que básicamente buscan un hardware que le ayude a mejorar su desempeño en el juego porque en su mayoría participa en competencias sobre todo de eSports en ligas y equipos que también van en aumento. El otro segmento es de jugadores entusiastas, muchos de los cuales han surgido durante las horas de confinamiento. Los dos tienen requerimientos diferentes pero claramente ambos buscan una mejor experiencia en los videojuegos”.
De acuerdo con los datos obtenidos por ViewSonic, ahora los también llamados “Gamers” buscan monitores más grandes, pasando de 27” a 32”; tasas de refresco de 165hz y 240hz, menor tiempo de respuesta, sincronía con tarjetas de video (NVIDIA y AMD), borde fino para acoplamiento y alta definición. Los más conocedores buscan tecnologías para reducir la fatiga ocular (tal como Flicker-free y Blue Light Filter) y soporte ergonómico para mejorar el confort y aumentar la productividad.
