Los vehículos de emergencias, servicios públicos domiciliarios, transporte escolar, servicio especial, entre otros quedan exentos de la medida.

La medida queda establecida de acuerdo con el Decreto 272 de 24 de septiembre de 2021.
Con el fin de cuidar el medio ambiente, el próximo martes 28 de septiembre de 2021, desde las 7:00 a.m. hasta las 7:00 p.m. se cumplirá en Dosquebradas, Pereira, La Virginia y Santa Rosa, el Día Sin Carro y Sin Moto.
Así lo anunció el alcalde Diego Ramos, quien dijo “le damos un gran regalo a La Tierra, al medio ambiente y para nosotros mismos, porque ese día dejamos de respirar toda la contaminación que producen los vehículos. Este acuerdo metropolitano nos ha dado un gran resultado y qué bueno que utilicen la bicicleta o medios alternativos de transporte, por eso los invito a participar”.
El objetivo de la jornada es reducir los índices de contaminación producidos por gases y ruidos, así como disminuir la accidentalidad vial en la ciudad.
Agregó el mandatario que, desde la Administración ‘Empresa de Todos’, se busca generar pedagogía social en torno a la utilización del transporte público para proteger el medio ambiente, el uso adecuado de los recursos naturales, la seguridad vial y la salud de los dosquebradenses.
Finalmente, añadió que los agentes de la Secretaría de Tránsito y Movilidad de Dosquebradas tendrán a su cargo el control y la vigilancia del acatamiento de la medida adoptada y las restricciones correspondientes.
