El sábado 16 de octubre, desde las 8:00 a.m. y hasta las 3:00 p.m. se realizará la gran Vacunatón contra Covid-19 en tres puntos específicos de Dosquebradas: Colegio Salesiano, Makro y el Centro Comercial El Progreso.
La secretaria de Salud y Seguridad Social de la ciudad, Bibiana Romero, dijo que “estamos invitando a todos los habitantes del municipio de Dosquebradas, que asistan y accedan a la primera dosis, porque ese es el querer del señor Alcalde a través de su secretaría de Salud: que todos los habitantes estén inmunizados contra Covid-19”.
La funcionaria precisó que el Municipio dispone de 1.000 dosis para los dosquebradenses, distribuidas en los tres puntos elegidos para la jornada. Las personas interesadas deben inscribirse con los presidentes de junta de acción comunal o líderes de su sector, puesto que ellos recibirán un link para agendar la hora y el lugar de vacunación.
Es importante resaltar que en este momento la inmunidad de rebaño está en el 27% aproximadamente, por lo que se requiere que los ciudadanos accedan a la vacuna para evitar contraer el virus y, en caso de contagiarse, ayuda a evitar enfermar de gravedad o desarrollar complicaciones.

Hasta la fecha hay 92 casos activos de personas con el virus y 492 han fallecido por esta causa en el municipio.
