La Gobernación de Risaralda recomienda a los Consejos Municipales de Gestión del Riesgo estar monitoreando constantemente los sectores críticos y así poder dar una respuesta oportuna.
El Consejo Departamental de Gestión del Riesgo de Desastres, liderado por el gobernador Victor Manuel Tamayo Vargas, decretó la calamidad doméstica con el propósito de dar una respuesta oportuna a los sectores afectados por la segunda temporada de lluvias del año, que inició el pasado 15 de septiembre y que según las proyecciones del Ideam se extenderá hasta mediados de diciembre.
De acuerdo al último reporte, más de 1200 campesinos han sido damnificados por las lluvias, ya que además de no poder comercializar sus cultivos por los deslizamientos en las vías, las fuertes lluvias ocasionaron grandes pérdidas en sus cultivos.
“El sector vial es quizá el más golpeado esta temporada, afectando vías nacionales, departamentales y la red terciaria, dificultando el tránsito de las personas, los campesinos para la comercialización de sus productos y al comercio por la disminución del turismo”, explicó Diana Carolina Ramírez Laverde, Coordinadora Departamental de Gestión del Riesgo de desastres.
Belén de Umbría y Guática han sido los municipios más damnificados en el sector agropecuario, teniendo pérdidas de más de 50 mil plantas de plátano, 600 plantas de aguacate, más de 900 de lulo, más de 500 de mora, entre otros cultivos.
En cuanto al sector vial, la Secretaría de Infraestructura informó que en el departamento hay 110 puntos críticos, que han venido siendo atendidos de manera oportuna con la maquinaria de la Gobernación y en conjunto con las administraciones municipales.
Además de lo anterior otro de los sectores afectados ha sido el comercio, pues solamente en Marsella cerca de 400 comerciantes están siendo perjudicados por los constantes deslizamientos en la vía que conduce a Pereira. Por ello, el Gobernador pidió que se revise jurídicamente de qué manera la calamidad pública puede ayudar para apoyarlos.
Aunado a lo expuesto, la Secretaría de Educación manifestó que durante las últimas semanas 28 sedes educativas han tenido daños en su infraestructura y Aguas y Aseo de Risaralda indicó que las fuertes lluvias han generado daños en 10 acueductos comunitarios, teniendo el del corregimiento de Santa Ana (Guática), el más perjudicado, por ello la Gobernación ha enviado un camión cisterna para abastecer del líquido vital a la población damnificada.
