Con un debate sobre el presupuesto que se debe destinar para la salud de los colombianos, el presidente de la Comisión Cuarta del Senado, Samy Merheg Marún, buscará que se llegue a un acuerdo con el Gobierno Nacional para sacar a las ESE de la crisis financiera que están atravesando.
“Por ser Caprecom una EPS del Estado, este deberá garantizar que se responda por la deuda que se tiene con los hospitales”, indicó el parlamentario.
Agregó el congresista que la Comisión Cuarta del Senado citó para este martes 12 de septiembre al ministro de Hacienda, Mauricio Cárdenas; al ministro de Salud y Protección Social, Alejandro Gaviria; y al superintendente nacional de Salud, Norman Julio Muñoz; con quienes espera tener un diálogo sincero y abierto frente a esta compleja situación.
Recordó además que, para diciembre 31 de 2016, según SIHO, la cartera de la red pública cerró en $7,4 billones, 13 % más que en 2015 ($6,45 billones). Las mayores deudas se concentran en el régimen subsidiado las que llegaron a $4,37 billones, con un incremento de $592.000 millones entre un año y otro de los analizados.
“Para Risaralda no es diferente, la cartera de las EPS con las ESE, a junio del presente año, llegó a $112.000 millones aproximadamente. Es por ello, que debemos lograr que los hospitales reciban de manera rápida, a través de destinación de presupuesto, parte del pago de esa deuda, buscando brindarles urgente un salvavidas”, acotó el Senador.
Por último, aseguró que lo que se busca con este debate es crear las bases de una serie de cambios que debe desarrollar el Gobierno Nacional, entre ellos una reforma a la salud, que deberá tener un renglón importante para los candidatos a la Presidencia de la República en el 2018.
