Como una prueba piloto de la Secretaría de Desarrollo Agropecuario y Gestión Ambiental de Dosquebradas, y como iniciativa de las estudiantes de grado undécimo de la Institución Educativa María Auxiliadora, fue inaugurado en este plantel un parque construido con material reciclado.
Como lo explicó el secretario de Desarrollo Agropecuario y Gestión Ambiental, Mateo Montoya Echeverry, desde el 30 de septiembre iniciaron las reciclatones que hoy arrojan como resultado la renovación del parque infantil del colegio: “Con las estudiantes de grado once, logramos recoger ocho toneladas de material reciclable, lo cual utilizamos para construir y dejar este parque en madera reciclable a la institución”.
Por su parte Juanita Giraldo Aguirre, estudiante de grado 11 y contralora de la Institución Educativa María Auxiliadora expresó que “de parte de la promoción 2021, nos sentimos bastante agradecidas con la Alcaldía de Dosquebradas y con las diferentes entidades que ayudaron en esto, ya que tenemos un parque ecológico para que nuestras nuevas generaciones se diviertan y puedan tener un sentido de conciencia con el medio ambiente”.
La estudiante hizo una invitación a las demás instituciones a sumarse a este proyecto: “Qué esperan? es una forma divertida e innovadora de ayudar al medio ambiente de manera consciente y real”.
