Al término de la sesión del puesto de mando unificado al que asistieron entidades del gobierno nacional, la alcaldía de Bogotá y representantes de entes territoriales y municipales, el director de la Unidad para las Víctimas, Ramón Alberto Rodríguez Andrade, realizó un balance de las acciones adelantadas por la entidad para atender y asistir a los integrantes de la población embera.
El funcionario dijo que en relación con el parque La Florida existen varios avances: 129 familias ya caracterizada, alrededor de 433 personas, y como resultado de ello el próximo viernes habrá reunión de todas las entidades competentes que estudiarán el proceso de retorno. Allí cada una de las entidades involucradas darán a conocer cuáles son los compromisos que se asumen para este nuevo retorno.
“Vamos a estar en compañía del Distrito para asumir compromisos que nos permitan, antes de finalizar el mes de febrero, estar haciendo el retorno hacia Pueblo Rico (Risaralda) y Bagadó en el departamento de Chocó”, dijo.
Según el director “lo que se quiere es poder articular y que las familias emberas puedan retornar bajo los principios de voluntariedad, dignidad y seguridad”.
En el PMU estuvieron el gobernador de Chocó, el alcalde de Bagadó, el secretario de Gobierno de la gobernación de Risaralda.

Sobre los integrantes de la comunidad embera que se encuentra en el parque Nacional de Bogotá, el director de la Unidad para las Víctimas reveló que “las autoridades quieren que su comunidad esté en el territorio. Deben permitirnos adelantar el proceso de caracterización bajo las condiciones que nos están exigiendo y revisar las condiciones que están pidiendo”.
