Falabella completa 25 tiendas en Colombia

El hito en la operación de la compañía, está ubicado en Bogotá y cuenta con un área de 9.666 metros cuadrados de construcción.

El proyecto de 3 pisos, generará 148 empleos directos y 120 indirectos.

Con una extensión de 9.666 metros cuadrados y 3 pisos abre sus puertas en Bogotá, la vigesimoquinta tienda Falabella de Colombia. El nuevo almacén, ofrecerá a todos sus clientes y visitantes ropa para toda la familia, artículos deportivos, tecnológicos, productos para el hogar, decoración y juguetería, entre otros.

En materia de empleos, Falabella generará 148 puestos de trabajo directos y 120 indirectos completando así una planta de más de 4.772 colaboradores a nivel nacional, incluyendo la nueva tienda. Banco Falabella y la Agencia de Seguros Falabella también llegan al Centro Comercial, completando 69 y 64 sucursales a nivel nacional, respectivamente.

Como parte del compromiso que tiene la empresa con el fortalecimiento de la educación en Colombia, y en marco su programa “Haciendo Escuela, la nueva tienda apadrinará de manera vitalicia al Colegio General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla, reconocido dentro de la red de instituciones distritales de la ciudad de Bogotá por su excelencia académica.

Durante la primera fase del proyecto social, Falabella realizó la restauración y dotación física e informática del laboratorio de química. El programa beneficiará a 3.300 alumnos de primaria y bachillerato.

“Con la nueva institución apadrinada, llegamos a una cifra histórica de 28.500 estudiantes –en Colombia- que se benefician del programa Haciendo Escuela. Esta iniciativa que se desarrolla en 4 países (Chile, Argentina, Colombia y Perú) evidencia la confianza que tenemos en las futuras generaciones y nuestro compromiso con la formación de quienes pueden forjar la construcción de una mejor región” concluye Cristina Botero, Directora de Asuntos Públicos, Comunicaciones y RSE de Falabella Colombia.
