El Secretario de Gobierno de Risaralda informó que se han desplazado cerca de 2.000 indígenas al coliseo del corregimiento de Santa Cecilia pertenecientes a las veredas Vichubura, Hiumade, Marruecos y Paparidó, donde están siendo atendidos por la Alcaldía del municipio de Pueblo Rico, con el liderazgo del alcalde Leonardo Fabio Siágama, y el Gobernador Víctor Manuel Tamayo, el cual ha hecho énfasis en que se brinde toda la atención social y en materia de seguridad con el Ejercito Nacional, la Policía y el acompañamiento de la Unidad de Víctimas a estas comunidades.
Igualmente, el secretario de gobierno de Risaralda, Israel Londoño, explicó “hay varias versiones, una que han sido desplazados por amenazas de algunas personas que no están identificadas todavía, otro es por el tema de la minería ilegal, y otras personas hablan que este proceso simplemente se da por la coyuntura política viendo la situación que hay diferentes partes el país”.
Por tal motivo este sábado 14 de mayo funcionarios de la secretaría de Gobierno, el enlace indígena, la Unidad Para las Víctimas y Defensoría del Pueblo, se desplazarán al corregimiento de Santa Cecilia, donde se llevarán ayudas humanitarias, pero sobre todo se va a dialogar con las autoridades indígenas, para que ellos puedan regresar a sus resguardos garantizando la integridad de ese grupo ancestral, en el que hay muchos niños y adultos mayores.
