En una agenda con los mandatarios del país, el Gobernador de Risaralda Victor Manuel Tamayo, ha podido presentar los avances de los principales proyectos liderados en el departamento ante el nuevo gabinete del gobierno nacional. De esta manera, con el nuevo ministro de Defensa Iván Velásquez, conoció las acciones de seguridad que emprenderá el nuevo gobierno, así mismo abordaron temas relacionados con el orden público en Risaralda, en especial los relacionados con la necesidad de mantener la seguridad y la convivencia en los municipios del área metropolitana de Pereira, así como las acciones preventivas en la zona limítrofe con el Chocó, entre otros.
Hacia el mediodía, el Gobernador Tamayo Vargas se reunió con el Ministro de Educación Alejandro Gaviria con quien empezó a socializar el modelo del programa Risaralda Profesional que ha beneficiado más de 9.000 estudiantes de estratos 1 y 2 de todo el departamento, así como la solicitud para que el Ministerio concluya todos los megacolegios que aún están en etapa de construcción y cierre financiero.
Finalmente, se pudo reunir con el ministro de Comercio, Industria y Turismo Germán Umaña Mendoza. En el encuentro, el mandatario de los risaraldenses presentó los principales proyectos estratégicos en materia de desarrollo económico que actualmente ejecuta la administración Sentimiento de Todos, así mismo el nuevo ministro dio a conocer la agenda que tendrá el Gobierno Nacional para aumentar la participación de las regiones en el nuevo modelo de desarrollo económico y social que propone el Presidente Gustavo Petro.
