El Ministerio de Salud dio a conocer que la próxima semana la ministra de esta cartera, Carolina Corcho, firmará una circular en la que permitirá la aplicación de la segunda dosis de refuerzo de la vacuna contra el COVID-19.
Esta sería la cuarta dosis que podrán aplicarse los mayores de 18 años hasta a los 49 años, quienes no pueden hacerlo aún.
El anuncio lo hizo el director de promoción y prevención del Ministerio de Salud, Gerson Bermont: “La próxima semana anunciaremos la aplicación de la segunda dosis de refuerzo para la población de 18 a 49 años, esto se dará a partir de la firma de la resolución por parte de la ministra”.
El Ministerio de Salud se encuentra promoviendo la vacunación contra el COVID-19 que ha caído sustancialmente en los últimos meses por cuenta de que los colombianos perdieron la sensación de peligro ante el virus.
“Como hemos conocido, sabemos que todavía seguimos en la pandemia del COVID. No hemos llegado a fase endémica y tenemos rezago en 419 municipios. Si tenemos que irnos a los municipios, nos vamos a los municipios”, aseguró la ministra Corcho desde el Puesto de Mando Unificado
