En las demarcaciones de pasos peatonales se aplica granulado antideslizante, para garantizar seguridad de peatones y motociclistas que circulan sobre la zona.
Desde el Instituto de Movilidad de Pereira y el grupo de señalización, demarcación y semaforización se adelantan tareas de demarcación en piso y cambio de lámparas halógenas e incandescentes por lámparas LED a semáforos de diferentes sectores.
Las acciones hacen parte de las estrategias ¡Súmate a la Movilidad!, Pereira más bonita y del avance de la renovación de la red semafórica de la ciudad.
Los sectores en los que se ha hecho la demarcación vial son: avenida principal Entreverdes, sector Santa Clara, Santa Juana de las Villas, carrera 12 calle 7, Glorieta Corocito, Glorieta Bavaria y avenida Circunvalar. Por su parte la renovación semafórica sumadas a las tareas ya realizadas, se adelantan en las siguientes intersecciones: calle 34 carrera 10, calle 26 con carrera 6 y calle 21 con carrera 19 bis.
