Las uñas siempre han sido una de las principales preocupaciones latentes de muchas mujeres. Sin embargo, hoy las opciones del mercado son variadas en materia de uñas, y los expertos cada día se especializan más para brindar colores, tendencias y técnicas en este campo de la cosmética.

“Hoy en día las uñas se han convertido en una parte importante del atuendo de las mujeres. Los colores, diseños, y técnicas son bastantes y evolucionan día a día. Según Laura Cortés, educadora Máster de Masglo, las extensiones de uñas en acrílico son una excelente opción para las mujeres que tienen algún tipo de inconveniente o condición que no permite el crecimiento o la mejor apariencia en las uñas. “Esta es una solución rápida y eficaz que además con los cuidados adecuados y productos de calidad, es duradera. La recomendación es siempre acudir a los expertos”, agrega Cortés.
A continuación la marca hace un recuento sobre lo que se debe tener en cuenta sobre las extensiones de uñas:
1. Ojo con los materiales: actualmente en el mercado existen varios materiales para alargar las uñas, (gel, acrílico, acrigel, etc.). Según Laura Cortés de Masglo, el acrílico es uno de los más recomendados ya que es un material muy resistente en el día a día de la consumidora, lo cual garantiza que puede durar mucho tiempo. En el caso de Masglo, una de sus mejoras incluye unos polvos acrílicos para construcción de uñas que garantizan mayor duración y resistencia de la extensión, gracias a la flexibilidad que tienen y son libres de agentes tóxicos, lo cual brindará una mejor salud para la manicurista y cuidado de uña natural al consumidor final.
2. Elija la técnica que más le convenga: cuando se habla de extensiones de uñas en acrílico es importante tener en cuenta que la mezcla del monómero y polímero es lo que nos forma una pasta llamada acrílico, de allí podemos crear varias estructuras de uñas, existen dos estructuras universales (tip y esculpidas) y una gran variedad de técnicas en diseño y puntas. Es fundamental saber qué tipo de uña tiene la persona que lo va a usar, de esta forma elegir la estructura adecuada y el diseño que va a gusto del consumidor.
3. El éxito también depende del cuidado: aunque las uñas de acrílico, están diseñadas para ser resistentes a golpes, sustancias, entre otras; debemos tener en cuenta la forma en la que se realiza la extensión, entre más se lime más se maltratará la lámina de la uña, realizar un mantenimiento debido al crecimiento de la uña, por lo cual es ideal hacerse un mantenimiento cada 3 o 4 semanas para rellenar los espacios donde ha crecido la uña natural y retoques en la superficie de la extensión. Según Laura cortés de Masglo, el mercado cuenta actualmente con productos como primer y sellantes para acrílico que garantizan la calidad de la aplicación. “En el caso de Masglo, acabamos de hacer mejoras a nuestro kit de acrílicos que aparte de asegurar durabilidad aportan brillo y la mejor apariencia posible”.
4. Las extensiones deben ser retiradas de forma profesional: así como la técnica debe ser aplicada por profesionales, de igual forma debe ser a la hora de retirar, ya que se necesitan productos especiales y un tiempo determinado, para dejar la uña en buen estado.
