Los ingenieros solicitaron fijar un techo en el precio máximo para las ofertas del megavatio hora.
En el marco de la instalación de la XXXIX Conferencia Energética Colombiana (Enercol), la Asociación Colombiana de Ingenieros (ACIEM) le presentó al Ministerio de Minas y Energía una serie de propuestas para reformar el modelo tarifario del sector eléctrico colombiano.
Dentro de las propuestas se encuentran:
Estudiar la eventualidad de limitar los ingresos de las empresas del sector eléctrico y reducir los beneficios extraordinarios.
La segunda se trata de evaluar la posibilidad de gravar los beneficios extraordinarios a las empresas que hayan obtenido utilidades superiores al 20% en los últimos tres años.
La tercera es considerar la posibilidad de establecer la competencia minorista y la cuarta habla de estudiar la viabilidad de definir límites de integración más exigentes que propendan por la competencia en todas las actividades.
Así lo señaló, Daniel Enrique Medina Velandia, Presidente de la Asociación Colombiana de Ingenieros, “entonces el primer mensaje es que hay que controlar los incrementos de las facturas, ¿cómo lo hacemos?, pues controlando los indicadores, se ha hablado de que si las empresas tuvieran exceso de utilidades pues se ponga un impuesto a esas utilidades, eso lo decidirá la reforma tributaria, obviamente es algo que también Europa está haciendo, no somos ajenos al tema, pero insistimos en que debe ser algo transitorio”.
Por otro lado, dentro de las propuestas que está elevando el gremio se habla de plantear unos subsidios para las familias que se encuentren en estratos 1, 2 y 3 usando energías renovables.
“Estamos tratando de volver un consumidor a un prosumidor, eso quiere decir que uno en su casa puede producir energía utilizando celdas solares, en Alemania tienen un subsidio en para los estratos bajos, donde haya un subsidio en el presupuesto para que instalen celdas solares y puedan producir energía y de esa manera los impactos en los estratos bajos de esas subidas tan graves sería menor”, aseguró el dirigente gremial.
