- Son 60 estudiantes marselleses vinculados a Risaralda Profesional, 29 de ellos cursan sus carreras en la UNISARC de Santa Rosa y por parte de la Gobernación del Departamento cuentan con el subsidio de transporte, mientras que los 31 restantes que estudian en la Ciudad de Pereira, tendrán en lo que resta del año el apoyo por parte de la Alcaldía.
A través de la Secretaría de Gobierno, la Alcaldía de Marsella otorgó el subsidio de transporte a 31 estudiantes universitarios que actualmente son beneficiados con el Programa Risaralda Profesional de la Gobernación del Departamento, el cual permite a los jóvenes de estratos 1 y 2 acceder a carreras profesionales en universidades de alta calidad, estrategia a la que se vincula el ente territorial como fundamental aporte para alivianar la economía de los padres y familias, quienes semanalmente deben asumir el costo que demanda el transporte diario de los estudiantes hacia la ciudad de Pereira.
Con una inversión de recursos propios por 25 millones de pesos, se garantizará en lo que resta de la actual vigencia 2022, el beneficio del transporte intermunicipal para el acceso a la educación superior de los marselleses incluidos en la oferta educativa gratuita del gobierno departamental, mediante el cual el Alcalde Alberto Rivera Cifuentes, busca atender las necesidades de traslado hacia la capital risaraldense que requieran los universitarios hasta culminar el año de estudios, como estímulo social al esfuerzo de los bachilleres locales que buscan mejorar sus proyectos de vida.
La Cooperativa de Transportadores de Marsella COOTRANSMAR, será la encarga de prestar el servicio gratuito garantizando el transporte pertinente que requieran los estudiantes favorecidos durante la semana, quienes agradecieron a la Administración Municipal por atender tan sentida necesidad entregándoles este subsidio, que contribuye de manera significativa en la disminución del costo que implica acudir diariamente a la universidad.
