El Sistema de Subsidio Familiar impacta de manera positiva más de la mitad de la población colombiana. Los números demuestran que, a partir del aporte de 693 mil empresarios, es posible crear valor económico y social al mismo tiempo. Sin embargo, el enfoque inicial del modelo se ha ido desvirtuando con el paso de los años, por lo que es necesario hacer un alto en el camino para analizar la destinación del 4% y planear los siguientes años del sistema.
Las Cajas de Compensación Familiar fueron creadas de manera voluntaria por empresarios colombianos para beneficiar a millones de trabajadores. Es importante reconocer que con esos recursos del 4% se han construido grandes avances sociales y económicos para la clase trabajadora y han aportado al cierre de brechas sociales y construcción de clase media en el país. Por lo que focalizar los recursos para los trabajadores y sus familias, quienes son la razón de ser del Sistema, debe ser la prioridad”, puntualizó Guillen.
Durante los dos días del evento, se dieron cita conferencistas nacionales e internacionales, entre los que se destacaron: Laura Chinchilla Miranda, presidente de Costa Rica (2010 – 2014) Ricardo Hausmann, director del Centro para el Desarrollo Internacional de Kennedy School of Government, Universidad de Harvard y Gloria Guevara, ex ministra de Turismo de México. El espacio también contó con la asistencia de reconocidos empresarios colombianos, presidentes de algunas de las compañías más importantes de Colombia y representantes del gremio: Postobón, SURA, Telefónica, ANDI, Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público, quienes participaron del panel “Transformaciones empresariales y evoluciones sociales”.
“60 años de vida del subsidio familiar, han demostrado los beneficios del modelo, además que su rentabilidad no puede ser igualada por ningún otro modelo social. Es por esto que resulta fundamental lograr que se reconozca a las Cajas de Compensación Familiar como un aliado estratégico de los empresarios colombianos.” aseguró Adriana Guillen Arango, presidente Ejecutiva de Asocajas.
