El crucero turístico alemán “MS Amadea” llegó este martes al Puerto Internacional El Guamache, ubicado en la reconocida la Isla de Margarita, al oriente de Venezuela, con casi 500 turistas a bordo.
Es el primer crucero proveniente de Europa que llega a Venezuela después de 15 años.
Autoridades venezolanas destacaron que el buque trasladó a 498 pasajeros alemanes, austriacos y suizos.
“El Crucero Internacional Amadea se encuentra en aguas venezolanas y llegará al @puerto_guamache con 498 pasajeros alemanes, austriacos y suizos a bordo. Muy orgullosos de su arribo a nuestro país, y les damos una cordial bienvenida”, destacó Érika Vírgüez Oviedo, la presidenta de Bolivariana de Puerto, instituto que rige la actividad portuaria en Venezuela.
Además, destacó que está garantizada la seguridad y el bienestar de los turistas, que llegaron en el histórico viaje.
“Previo al arribo del Crucero Internacional Amadea al Puerto Guamache realizamos inspecciones y encuentros de coordinación, contemplando todo para la seguridad y bienestar de los turistas”, agregó Vírgüez.
El crucero Amadea provenía de Trinidad y Tobago y luego de su estancia en Venezuela, continuará hacia Bonaire, otra de las islas del Caribe.
Según agencias, el buque que llegó a Venezuela es propiedad de la Amadea Shipping Company. Cuenta ocho cubiertas para pasajeros, siete bares, dos restaurantes, biblioteca, cine, hospital, escenario, salón de belleza, gimnasio y mini golf, entre otros servicios.
Meses atrás, cuando se concretó el viaje del Buque a Venezuela, el ministro de Turismo, Alí Padrón, señaló que «Se rompe el celofán de las medidas coercitivas unilaterales que impidieron durante muchísimos años la llegada de cruceros desde Europa”.
