Un nuevo choque a través de redes sociales han protagonizado este jueves los presidentes Gustavo Petro y Nayib Bukele. Todo inició luego de que el mandatario colombiano se refirió a un informe publicado por la cadena CNN en el que fiscales en Nueva York alegaron que altos funcionarios de Bukele hicieron un pacto con las pandillas.
El artículo señala un supuesto acuerdo para que los grupos criminales redujeran la tasa de homicidios a cambio de mejores condiciones para que el enfoque de Bukele contra el crimen pareciera que daba resultados.
Al respecto, el presidente Petro comentó la publicación y manifestó que “mejor que hacer pactos del gobierno por debajo de la mesa es que la justicia pueda hacerlos encima de la mesa sin engaños y en búsqueda de la paz”.
Ante esto, Bukele respondió: “Pónganse de acuerdo. Primero acusa de tratos inhumanos y ahora hablan de “mejores condiciones. Además, no entiendo su obsesión con El Salvador”.
Pero el mandatario salvadoreño no paró ahí y se refirió a la polémica de los últimos días protagonizada por Nicolás Petro, hijo mayor del presidente colombiano, quien es señalado por su exesposa de, superetamente, haber recibido dineros ilegales durante la campaña presidencial.
“¿No es su hijo el que hace pactos bajo la mesa y además por dinero? ¿Todo bien en casa?”, añadió Bukele.

Petro respondió en la tarde de este jueves a ese último trino que le había enviado Bukele y escribió: “Estimado presidente Nayib todo bien en mi casa. Aquí existe la presunción de inocencia, principio universal. Aquí el presidente no destituye ni jueces, ni magistrados; lucha por una justicia más autónoma y fuerte. Aquí en Colombia profundizamos la democracia no la destruimos”.
