El jefe de Estado presidió un consejo de seguridad en Montelíbano donde invitó a los dirigentes mineros a Palacio a hablar de un distrito agro minero.
El presidente Gustavo Petro entregó un parte de tranquilidad en las vías del bajo Cauca y sur de Córdoba que estuvieron afectadas por más de 9 días debido al paro minero.
El jefe de Estado aseguró que la fuerza pública ha retomado el control de las vías, pero hay un tramo en Antioquia afectado por arboles atravesados en la vía.
“En este momento todas las vías están bajo control, queda solo un punto donde se están removiendo decenas de árboles que fueron cortados para bloquear las vías , la Troncal del Nordeste(de Antioquia)está completamente libre , se puede llegar desde Montería hacia Caucasia y estamos removiendo los últimos obstáculos hacia Cáceres – Tarazá”, expresó el mandatario.
Petro, que estuvo acompañado del ministro de defensa, Iván Velásquez, y altos mandos militares, aseguró que se mantendrá presencia masiva de la fuerza pública en el territorio que afectado por el paro minero.
“Intentaremos que todo territorio liberado de organizaciones armadas sea porque estas hacen la paz , sea porque se les combate, siempre mantendrá de manera la permanente la presencia del Estado, por eso en este territorio que hoy ha sido presa de estos hechos, la Fuerza Pública que llegó se queda”, afirmó el jefe de Estado.
En el consejo de seguridad de Montelíbano, Córdoba , Petro reveló que habrá una línea de control “a toda la maquinaria amarilla en Colombia para rastrear su uso legal y se destruirá la gran maquinaria que se utiliza en los ríos de Colombia para la minería ilegal”.
Petro invitó a los que llamo “verdaderos dirigentes mineros” a dialogar con él en el Palacio de Nariño sobre la construcción de un distrito agro minero .
“Reformaremos código minero para favorecer al pequeño minero, para que esta actividad no deprede al territorio y no contamine , no afecte las aguas, los ríos, esa actividad la apartaremos de una economía ilegal”, sostuvo el presidente Petro.
Reconoció que hay veredas y corregimiento en el norte de Antioquia confinados “literalmente violando el Derecho Humanitario , a esa población confinada de carácter rural la vamos a aprisionar nosotros mismos como Gobierno”, Sostuvo.
También reiteró que, si el Clan del Golfo está detrás de acciones del paro minero , no tiene verdadera voluntad de paz.
