· Expodefensa es la exhibición internacional de carácter especializado y de referencia para los países de América Latina y el Caribe.
Del 4 al 6 de diciembre, el Centro Internacional de Negocios y Exposiciones de Bogotá, Corferias, el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional de Colombia y Coges Internacional realizarán Expodefensa 2017, la feria líder del sector defensa y seguridad en América Latina.
Para la VI edición, el evento prevé la asistencia de más de 13.500 visitantes profesionales, la participación de 300 expositores y 30 países. España, Rusia, Bélgica y Reino Unido participarán por primera vez.
La feria, que responde a una completa oferta dirigida a las necesidades de América Latina y el Caribe, permitirá a los visitantes encontrar temas de defensa, relacionados con comunicación y sistemas de información; subensamblajes para vehículos terrestres, aéreos y navales; armamentos y municiones; sistemas de detección, localización, adquisición y engaño; y preparación de campo y eliminación de desechos de artillería explosiva.
Así mismo, los asistentes encontrarán temáticas en equipamiento personal, protección de infraestructuras sensibles y críticas, logística para operaciones e instalaciones, gestión de riesgos, desastres naturales, crisis, seguridad nacional; además de investigación, diseño, producción y servicios, entre otros.
Expodefensa dedicará 15.000 metros cuadrados de exhibición en los que se desarrollarán negocios, conocerán nuevas tecnologías e innovaciones y se podrá participar en conferencias para la actualización en el sector defensa y seguridad.
El viceministro de Defensa para el Gsed, general (RA) Javier Pérez, reveló al respecto que “gracias a nuestras Fuerzas Armadas, Colombia está entrando al posconflicto y para enfrentar ese nuevo escenario sus organizaciones se están transformando y modernizando de la mano de las empresas del sector defensa, que ven en el desarrollo científico y tecnológico el fortalecimiento de sus capacidades y la mejor herramienta para innovar”.
Por su parte, Patrick Colas Des Francs, CEO de Coges Internacional, manifestó: “firmamos con Corferias una cooperación de largo plazo con el fin de convertir a Expodefensa en el HUB del sector. Este año será la segunda edición organizada por la alianza, permitiendo a Coges contribuir con el éxito de la exhibición a través de su know-how.
Finalmente, Andrés González, jefe de proyecto de la feria, reveló que “el evento prevé convertirse en un HUB para Latinoamérica, ya que es para Europa, África y nuestro país, un espacio idóneo para consolidar relaciones comerciales y de cooperación en el sector”.
