Adquirir un vehículo es una de las grandes decisiones que los seres humanos toman a la hora de adquirir bienes, al igual que comprar una casa.
A la hora de realizar este tipo de compras, muchas personas optan por buscar vehículos nuevos (‘de concesionario’), o por otro lado, recurren al mercado de los usados.
A lo anterior se suman otros aspectos como economía, necesidades y otros más que condicionan a un comprador a la hora de adquirir su vehículo.
Según expertos, no significa que uno sea mejor que otro, pues ambos mercados tienen sus ventajas y desventajas.
“Sabemos que cada situación es diferente, por eso lo primero que debe tener en cuenta es que la mejor decisión será la que se ajuste a todas sus necesidades; sin importar si al final se trate de un carro usado o uno nuevo”, dice el reconocido concesionario de vehículos, Los Coches.
Pros y contras de adquirir carros nuevos
Según explica Los Coches, “la principal ventaja de comprar un carro nuevo es que viene con garantía”.
En la misma línea, resaltan que “un carro recién salido del concesionario necesitará muy pocas reparaciones en sus primeros años de uso, por lo que podrá concentrarse solo en su mantenimiento”.
El mismo concesionario también destaca el hecho de que adquirir carro nuevo da “la certeza de que su automóvil nunca ha sufrido accidentes o problemas mecánicos”.
Por otro lado, portales como Finesa explican que una de las desventajas de adquirir este tipo de vehículo es el precio, ya que es más costoso. “Comprar un carro nuevo es una gran inversión, y sus precios pueden variar de acuerdo con el modelo”.
Así mismo, explican que otra desventaja es la depreciación. “Un vehículo pierde la mayor parte del valor una vez se comienza a usar. Tenga claro que si algún día lo quiere vender lo tendrá que hacer por un precio inferior al de la compra”.
Pros y contras de adquirir carros usados
Los Coches en su artículo explican que “la mayor ventaja de comprar un carro usado es que, eventualmente, puede venderlo por casi la misma cantidad que pagó por él en los próximos años”.
Así mismo, el concesionario destaca el aspecto del precio. “Los carros usados son más accesibles que los carros nuevos. Entonces, si lo que quiere es ahorrarse algo de dinero, busque su modelo de automóvil preferido de años anteriores”.
Finesa por su parte destaca otra ventaja: seguro más económico. “Dependiendo del modelo, muchos carros usados tienen tarifas de seguro, tarifas de título e impuestos sobre las ventas más bajos. Esto puede ahorrarle dinero tanto en el momento de la compra como durante la vida útil”.
Por otro lado, la misma compañía destaca ventajas que van desde el kilometraje, hasta mayores costos de mantenimiento.
“Un carro usado tendrá más kilómetros recorridos, lo que puede reducir su vida útil”. Además, que “Incluso si el carro está en relativamente buenas condiciones, un vehículo usado inevitablemente necesitará más mantenimiento y reparaciones con el tiempo”.
Recuerde finalmente que el hecho de que sea bueno o malo depende netamente de sus necesidades, por lo que puede ser subjetivo.
