- El paquete de obras de mitigación del riesgo se ejecuta en el marco de los Decretos 147 del 2019 y el 024 del 2021 de calamidad pública.
La Alcaldía de Dosquebradas, entregó a la comunidad tres obras de mitigación del riesgo por inundación, deslizamiento y movimientos de masa, en los sectores de Jardín Colonial, Buenos Aires y La Pradera.
“Yo entiendo a las comunidades en sus inquietudes, cuando llegamos a la Alcaldía teníamos 175 sitios críticos que se afectaban por el invierno y que fuimos interviniendo gracias a un empréstito que sacamos adelante por $ 20 mil millones de pesos con los que se adelantaron 19 obras de mitigación del riesgo y seguidamente otras obras como estas, que se están adelantando con la ayuda del gobierno nacional”, dijo el alcalde Diego Ramos.
Una de las obras corresponde a la construcción de obras de mitigación del riesgo en la quebrada Cañaveral en el sector de Jardín Colonial 1,2, Villalón y comunidades aguas abajo del Progreso, cuya inversión de ejecución es de $ 280 millones.
La obra de mitigación realizada en Jardín Colonial, pertenece a la comuna 7, con cobertura directamente a las unidades de los jardines coloniales y conjuntos aguas abajo, además de beneficiar indirectamente a 12 mil habitantes de la comuna.
En el sector de Buenos Aires se ubica la obra con un valor $1.520.536.736. Estos trabajos de mitigación pertenecen a la comuna 6, reduciendo las amenazas de la vía y viviendas que se encuentran en la margen izquierda de la quebrada Dosquebradas, impactando indirectamente a la población de la comuna 6 que ronda los 10.000 habitantes.
La tercera obra de mitigación del riesgo se realizó en el barrio La Pradera, cuyo costo asciende a $940.446.137, beneficiando directa e indirectamente a la población de la comuna 5, la cual tiene aproximadamente 13.000 habitantes.
El punto donde se realizó la obra protege el paso vial que conecta con el sector de Naranjales cerca al colegio Santa Juana de Lestonnac, y la protección del puente que conduce a los conjuntos residenciales de la zona, reduciendo significativamente las condiciones de amenazas a esta vía por el sedimento que se genera por las socavaciones en la margen de la quebrada de La Pradera.
Por su parte, la presidenta de la veeduría María Gladis Gallego Buitrago, calificó de excelentes las obras ejecutadas por el municipio de Dosquebradas a través de la Diger. “Hace 35 años teníamos estos inconvenientes y hoy este regalo es maravilloso para nuestra seguridad y bienestar”, agregó.
