De hecho, en el comunicado se aclara que cada una de las tres aerolíneas (Avianca, Gol y Aerolíneas Argentinas), continuarán operando de manera independiente y también seguirán tomando decisiones autónomamente. “El acuerdo firmado no contempla ningún cambio en las estructuras accionarias del grupo ni de las compañías mencionadas”, puntualizó.

El objetivo con este memorando de entendimiento es fortalecer la operación del Grupo Abra en Sudamérica, incentivar más competencia en el continente y que de esa forma, haya más alternativas de viajes para las personas, así como mejores precios ante estas alianzas entre aerolíneas de diferentes países del cono sur.
“Como parte del crecimiento del Grupo Abra en la región, anunciamos un acuerdo de colaboración con Aerolíneas Argentinas, la línea aérea líder de Argentina, que nos permitirá fortalecer aún más nuestra presencia en el Cono Sur y buscar nuevas oportunidades en diferentes áreas para aportar al propósito de Abra: lograr que más personas en América Latina vuelen en avión a mejores tarifas, con más destinos, frecuencias y conexiones más prácticas”, aseguró , Constantino de Oliveira Junior, CEO de Grupo Abra.
De igual forma, el consorcio aclaró que, de ser necesario, pedirán directamente autorización a los gobiernos de cada país para poder dejar en firma este acuerdo, aclarando que se trata de eso, una alianza en términos de tecnología y operaciones, y no una integración entre las tres aerolíneas.
