Fuerza laboral en 2020 podría padecer por culpa de los Millennials

Estos jóvenes nacidos entre 1982 y 2004, con estudios universitarios o FP, son los que pisan fuerte en el mundo del emprendimiento. Una generación que se lanzan a crear negocios.

(DM) “Para 2020, la mitad de la fuerza laboral en el mundo estará conformada por la generación Millennial y se espera que para 2025 este número aumente a 75 por ciento, lo que facilitará la digitalización de las empresas porque ello es parte de su cultura, indicó CenturyLink.

De acuerdo con un comunicado de la empresa, se estima que 25 por ciento de los empleos actuales desaparecerá en los próximos 10 años debido a la automatización, aunque datos del Instituto Nacional de Geografía y Estadística (INEGI) señalan que sólo una de cada 10 empresas mexicanas sobrepasa el primer año de vida debido a la falta de innovación y sistematización en sus procesos, entre otros factores.

Aproximadamente 40 por ciento de las personas que tienen cuenta en redes sociales suelen comprar en línea a través de su smartphone, expuso el director de Ventas de CenturyLink, Federico Lammel.

“El aumento de personas que adquieren productos de manera digital debe ser un llamado a los empresarios e industriales tradicionales a adaptarse a las nuevas tecnologías, sin dejar a un lado la estrategia, con el objetivo de capturar y llegar a los clientes de manera competitiva, ofreciéndoles productos y medios innovadores”, dijo.

El directivo indicó que una organización debe considerar el manejo de la seguridad de los datos, la operación de las redes en un horario de 24/7 y la alineación de una estrategia digital con el negocio que se tiene, son los retos más importantes a considerar para la digitalización de una empresa.

“La era digital constituye una nueva forma de ver al mundo, debido a que ayuda a reducir costos de operación y mejora la prosperidad organizacional al impulsar la innovación en movilidad y comunicaciones”, finalizó.
