Una transformación total tendrá la Carrera 16 con Calle 51 en el sector de Integra sobre la Avenida Simón Bolívar, así lo dio a conocer el Alcalde Fernando Muñoz en compañía de las Secretarías de Gobierno y Obras Públicas, quienes realizaron una jornada de limpieza, aplanamiento de terreno y cerramiento del lugar en la mañana de hoy.
“Queremos contarle a todos los dosquebradenses que convertiremos este lugar en un hermoso parque, aquí traeremos nuestra oferta institucional, jornadas de cultura, deporte, recreación, salud y muchas acciones más. Será un lugar seguro donde los niños y las niñas podrán divertirse y caminar con tranquilidad”, manifestó Muñoz.
Del mismo modo, el mandatario indicó que realizó una gestión ante las empresas Integra y Delsa, para que en una alianza contribuyan a la recuperación de esta zona, la cual ha sido considerada como un foco de inseguridad en la ciudad.
“Realizaremos un trabajo articulado para recuperar este espacio, Delsa nos ayudará con la iluminación e Integra será uno de los encargados de la construcción del parque, quien ya tiene planos y diseños que fueron realizados por la Universidad Católica de Pereira. Además la Policía Nacional nos ayudará a garantizar la seguridad y tranquilidad en este sitio”, precisó el Alcalde de la ciudad.
Adicionalmente, el secretario de Gobierno, Alfredo Castañeda destacó la importancia de intervenir esta zona y se refirió a cuál será la siguiente etapa del proyecto.
“Estamos haciendo un trabajo importante en este sector de la ciudad, ya que ha sido considerado como un punto crítico por la oscuridad y la alta presencia de habitante de calle. El proyecto a ejecutar se encuentra en su etapa inicial consistente en la limpieza del terreno y continuará con el ajuste y la preparación de la zona”, sostuvo Castañeda.
