¿Cómo crees que sería dormir a 400 metros de altura? Solo tú y las estrellas del cielo peruano. Una experiencia única pero también real en las cabañas de Skylodge Aventures Suites sobre el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, en Perú.
Un lugar mágico que reúne aventura, paisajes increíbles e historia, cerca del Machu Pichu y cuenta con numerosos valles y monumentos arqueológicos indígenas.
“Queríamos ofrecer una experiencia de montaña a personas que no necesariamente tienen experiencia en escalada. Un ‘portaledge’ —un carpa colgante para escaladores— con comodidades inimaginables”, cuenta a Traveler.es, Natalia Rodríguez, gerente de SkyLodge.
Las cabañas colgantes, únicas en el mundo, están hechas de vidrio, aluminio aeroespacial y policarbonato, un material resistente a la intemperie. Además Natura Vive, la empresa que lo gestiona, asegura que son muy seguras y cuentan con un equipo de seguridad de precisión.
Las Skylodge se encuentran a 1.200 pies de altura y tienen una vista de 300 grados, por lo que la panorámica está asegurada. Las tres suites, que tienen capacidad para ocho personas, cuentan con todo lo necesario para sentirse cómodo: cuatro camas, iluminación nocturna y hasta baño independiente para cada una de ellas.
Una vez arriba merece la pena disfrutar de la gastronomía peruana con un cena y desayuno, lo que puede suponer unos 700 euros en total, aproximadamente.
CÓMO LLEGAR HASTA ALLÍ
La mala noticia de todo esto es que llegar hasta aquí no es fácil, o por lo menos para los que no se consideran aventureros de espíritu y, mucho menos, para los que sufren el síndrome de meniere.
“Todos viven una experiencia única en su vida, también las personas que sufren de miedo a las alturas, porque resulta un reto llegar hasta allí”, advierte Natalia. “Hay niveles y niveles de vértigo, pero está claro que si tienes un nivel muy alto y no eres capaz de subir dos metros del suelo, será imposible que subas. Es la única restricción que tenemos”, añade.
Si se escoge la experiencia completa el equipo de Natura Vive hace el traslado hasta el lugar donde se inicia la subida. Acto seguido, hay que atreverse con 400 metros de Vía Ferrata por un camino intrépido con ayuda de tirolinas.
“Una vez que te instales, disfrutarás de impresionantes vistas panorámicas del valle salvaje y, por la noche, de la Vía Láctea”, termina Natalia Rodríguez, gerente de SkyLodge.
Mientras que al despertar te espera la antigua capital imperial de Cusco y la ciudadela inca del siglo XV, Machu Picchu; una zona declarada Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.
