La Personería de Pereira presentó la campaña “Frena Por La Vida” con el fin de concientizar a las personas sobre la importancia de respetar y velar por el cuidado en carretera de la vida en general.
Esta campaña se planteó por medio de la estrategia lúdico pedagógica de representación teatral, con funcionarios de la Personería Municipal como actores naturales, donde se mostró la importancia de la prudencia al conducir en estado de sobriedad y con atención sobre lo que sucede alrededor del volante en carretera, para evitar accidentes con las personas, especialmente con la infancia o la tercera edad, como también con animales de silvestres o domésticos.
La Personera de Pereira, Sandra Lorena Cárdenas, hizo especial énfasis en “empoderarnos de lo que significa la protección a la vida” por medio de acciones preventivas, policivas o penales, según amerite el caso, especialmente en épocas de mayor movimiento turístico dentro y fuera del municipio, como la venidera semana mayor.
Por otra parte, la gerente del Bioparque Ukumarí, Sandra Milena Correa, resaltó la campaña de la Personería, aludiendo que la importancia de estas estrategias radica en la promoción del “respeto por los demás seres vivientes, independientemente si son animales o personas”.
