Alrededor de mil personas, entre líderes de barrio, presidentes de jac y ediles, acompañaron los representantes del MIRA en Risaralda. Los Concejales Carlos Henao de Pereira, Germán Londoño de Dos/das, Sandra García de la Virginia, el actual director departamental de esta colectividad diputado Geovany Londoño y la Senadora Aydee Lizarazo.
“Queremos agradecer a todas las personas que nos han dado su apoyo y han permitido que MIRA llegue a su madurez política, vamos a continuar trabajando por Risaralda y tenemos muchos deseos de aportar al bienestar de las personas” manifestó el diputado Londoño.
Cabe resaltar que el diputado Geovany Londoño quiere aspirar a la Gobernación de Risaralda y se le ha visto activo realizando recorridos por el área metropolitana visitando líderes de diferentes comunas y reunido con actores políticos de peso en la región en la búsqueda de sumar apoyo a su aspiración.
También es de anotar que hace unos días el doctor Carlos Alberto Baena quien era el presidente del Partido desde hace muchos años renunció a esta colectividad y para ser nombrado por el presidente Duque como Viceministro del Trabajo, con esto el Partido MIRA va ganando terreno en el campo político y cada vez aumenta su presencia en lo ejecutivo.
