Para los uniformados de la Policía Metropolitana de Pereira, Siempre es posible hacer realidad un sueño
Esta vez, Dios le brindó la oportunidad a Joan Sebastián de poner en el corazón de hombres y mujeres de la institución el deseo de preparar la sorpresa “con todos los juguetes”. Al conocer la historia del menor, a quien le fue diagnosticado Meningococcemia asociada con purpura fulminans desde los ocho meses de nacido, los uniformados adscritos a la Estación de Policía Pereira, bajo el liderazgo del Intendente Diego Fernando Gaviria Ramírez y el Patrullero Yunail Darío Orozco López, no dudaron un segundo en empezar los preparativos de la celebración y cumplir el sueño del pequeño.
Motivado por esta buena causa los policiales se desplazaron al barrio Santa Elena de la capital risaraldense, allí conocieron de las precarias condiciones en que vive el niño en compañía de sus abuelos y sus dos hermanos.
Esta iniciativa permitió celebrarle a Joan Sebastián su cumpleaños número 10, teniendo como escenario la calle principal del barrio en donde reside, para brindarle felicidad, amor y mucha diversión en compañía de sus familiares, amiguitos y vecinos.
Allí pudo disfrutar de su primera fiesta de cumpleaños, del afecto de los policiales de las especialidades de infancia y adolescencia, grupo de prevención y educación ciudadana, escuadrón móvil antidisturbios y grupo de carabineros y guías caninos, quienes brindaron actividades de polirumba, show canino, marionetas y presentación de artistas musicales como el cantante de Salsa Wilson Manyoma Saoko y artistas de la región.
Teniendo en cuenta su pasión por el fútbol, los uniformados gestionaron mensajes de saludo a Joan Sebastián por parte de los jugadores de su equipo favorito, Club Atlético Nacional, así mismo recibió la camiseta autografiada y el uniforme del arquero Franco Armani como muestra de cariño y gratitud.
