Cerca de 40 productores de la zona rural de Dosquebradas participaron de la sexta Feria Agroindustrial, quienes por medio de stands promocionales expusieron sus productos agrícolas y pecuarios con el apoyo de la administración municipal.
Durante el evento, los visitantes pudieron degustar productos derivados de yuca, cidra, café, miel, vinos de frutas, cannabis, y así mismo, conocer y adquirir artesanías hechas en madera y guadua.
“Esta feria se ha convertido en una vitrina para los productores rurales de Dosquebradas, pues muchos de ellos no tienen espacios donde comercializar sus productos. Es importante mencionar que este es el resultado de un proceso de aprendizaje que venimos realizando con ellos, pues nos hemos encargado de darles asesoría y asistencia técnica para que implementen el valor agregado, a través de la transformación de sus productos”, explicó el secretario de Desarrollo Agropecuario y Gestión Ambiental, Julio César González Restrepo.
Entre tanto, uno de los productores participantes de la feria, Jairo Amador Quintero, agradeció el apoyo brindado por la Administración Municipal, pues manifestó que con esta ayuda la Asociación de Productores de Plátano – Asoplad viene consolidando una propuesta para trabajar con la empresa Frisby y la cadena de supermercados Olímpica.
Finalmente, la directora operativa del despacho Agropecuario, Nini Johanna Martínez Penagos, indicó que los productos cuentan con los estándares mínimos para la venta al público y que desde esta dependencia se viene trabajando en la búsqueda de alianzas estratégicas con compradores para generar nuevos ingresos a la población campesina.
