La consolidación de la Mesa de Planeación del Sistema Universitario Estatal -SUE- es el objetivo del Encuentro de Jefes de Planeación del SUE, que se cumplió en la Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira
El evento que contó con la presencia de representantes de 18 de las 32 que constituyen el SUE; tuvo como sede el Centro de Visitantes del Jardín Botánico y el Salón Plano de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud.
Durante la instalación del evento, el rector de la UTP, Luis Fernando Gaviria Trujillo, señaló que este espacio permitirá compartir experiencias sobre el Sistema General de Regalías y demarcar un derrotero de acciones y de actividades conjuntas, que permitan fortalecer el SUE. “Quedo complacido de poder atenderlos en esta, su institución”, agregó.
Por su parte, el jefe de Planeación, Francisco Uribe Gómez, indicó que se trabajará alrededor de temas estratégicos que tienen que ver con los proyectos que las universidades deben presentar al Fondo de Regalías, en cumplimiento a los acuerdos a que se llegaron con el Gobierno Nacional y revisar temas inherentes a la oficinas de planeación, relacionados con los sistemas de información e indicadores, seguimiento a la gestión y rendición de cuentas; todo esto, con miras a fortalecer el Sistema Universitario Estatal.
Uribe Gómez agregó que este papel de coordinación que lidera la UTP, como miembro del Comité Técnico Asesor del SUE, está orientado a fortalecer las instancias de planeación de las universidades, y permitir conjuntamente adelantar acciones de cooperación, colaboración e intercambio, en los temas que se prioricen. Por lo pronto, es importante definir las acciones de mejora para tener listos los proyectos que deben presentar a los fondos de regalías, en el transcurso del año. Igualmente, definir los temas que desde las oficinas de planeación se recomiendan, para hacer parte del Plan de Desarrollo del SUE para el período 2019-2020.
En el Encuentro de Jefes de Planeación del SUE hicieron presencia representantes de la Universidad de Cartagena, Universidad del Cauca, Universidad Tecnológica de Chocó, Universidad del Atlántico; Universidad del Quindío, Universidad Militar de Nueva Granada, Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Universidad de Pamplona, Universidad Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander, Universidad de Córdoba, Universidad del Magdalena, Universidad del Tolima, la Universidad Pedagógica Nacional y de la UTP.
