Ahora hemos resuelto el problema y nuestros sistemas se están recuperando. Sentimos mucho las molestias ocasionadas y gracias por su paciencia”, escribió Facebook en Twitter.
“¡Volvimos!”, había tuiteado por su parte la cuenta oficial de Instagram, una de las plataformas operadas por el gigante de la tecnología.
Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp y Messenger comenzaron a registrar fallas, lo que provocó un sinnúmero de quejas en el sitio downdetector.com, que monitorea problemas para acceder a sitios web, así como en la rival Twitter.
“Tenemos conocimiento de que algunos actualmente tienen problemas para acceder a las aplicaciones de Facebook. Estamos trabajando para resolver el problema lo antes posible”, indicó el grupo en un tuit publicado en la tarde del miércoles.
En la apertura de la sesión de este jueves, la acción del gigante estadounidense cayó cerca de 2,5%.

Cox aseguró en su página de Facebook que abandona la empresa con “gran tristeza” después de 13 años.
Aunque no dio ninguna explicación del por qué de su adiós, el ex directivo dijo que el jefe de la red, Mark Zuckerberg, había fijado una nueva estrategia para pasar de ser “la plaza del pueblo digital” a centrarse en las interacciones privadas a menor escala.
Sobre Daniels, Zuckerberg aseguró que “ayudó a definir el modelo de negocio para que el servicio de mensajería avanzara”, dijo Zuckerberg.
