Seis establecimientos de lenocinio ubicados en la Avenida Simón Bolívar, en Dosquebradas, fueron sellados por no cumplir las condiciones higiénico locativas, procesos insuficientes de limpieza y desinfección, y un mal manejo de los residuos peligrosos generados por esta actividad, en un operativo liderado por la Secretaría de Salud y Seguridad Social con el acompañamiento de las dependencias de Gobierno, Desarrollo Agropecuario, la Policía Nacional, la Secretaría de Hacienda y Fiscalización Aduanera de Risaralda.
“Programamos este operativo para inspeccionar, vigilar y controlar las casas de lenocinio, bares y cantinas ubicadas en un sector de la ciudad, ya que la comunidad se está quejando por el mal manejo de residuos peligrosos, los cuales están siendo dejados en las esquinas de las calles, generando proliferación de vectores y contaminación ambiental”, explicó la contratista del programa Ambiental de Dosquebradas, Elizabeth Salazar Giraldo.
Durante la actividad de control fueron visitados en total nueve establecimientos, y en algunos se encontraron plagas por acumulación de residuos especiales en las habitaciones, no tenían una adecuada manipulación de alimentos y presentan un deterioro en las estructuras físicas.
“La labor que nosotros cumplimos en este proceso es de acompañamiento y en los casos que lo ameritan cerrar los establecimientos que no están cumpliendo con la documentación y la Ley vigente. Sin embargo, como autoridad le hacemos un llamado a los ciudadanos para que verifiquen las condiciones sanitarias y de limpieza de los lugares a los que ingresan, que el alcohol cumpla con las normas de consumo para evitar perjuicios en la salud”, precisó el comandante del Centro de Atención Inmediata – CAI sector Valher, Teniente Sergio Restrepo Vásquez.
