Las alertas se encendieron en el área metropolitana de Pereira luego de registrarse este fin de semana una docena de incendios forestales el la capital de Risaralda y Dosquebradas, a raíz de las altas temperaturas que se presentan en la región cafetera.
De acuerdo con el Cuerpo de Bomberos de Pereira, las conflagraciones también se han originado debido al descuido de personas que realizan quemas en zonas boscosas con vegetación.

Las afectaciones por incendios forestales se han presentado en el sector de Cerritos, señaló el organismo de socorro.
“Se han atendido incendios forestales o de cobertura de capa vegetal en Pereira, en la vereda Canceles, en Cerritos, y otra más en el barrio El Triunfo. Diez incendios de cobertura de capa vegetal que atendimos”.
En Dosquebradas
El municipio industrial también presentó este tipo de emergencias, tres incendios en zonas boscosas, en esta localidad.
Autoridades recomiendan a los habitantes de Pereira y Dosquebradas no realizar quemas, ni arrojar botellas, vidrios o colillas de cigarrillos encendidas en las área verdes, boscosas o pastizales.
