* Propietarios y residentes del conjunto residencial Altos de Tanambí, en Pereira, están denunciando que desde el 28 de agosto se presenta una tala de árboles indiscriminada al lado del río Consotá generando preocupantes daños ambientales.
En carta enviada a los medios de comunicación la administración del conjunto señala que algunos propietarios han indagado al respecto encontrando que la Carder aprobó el aprovechamiento de los suelos en este espacio y la Secretaría de Planeación autorizó a la Constructora Las Galias desarrollar un proyecto de vivienda de cerca de 1000 viviendas.
“Se debe tener en cuenta que en el Acuerdo 35 de 2016 aprobado por el Concejo de Pereira dictaminó regulaciones sobre el uso de los suelos, en el artículo 181 se declara: ‘TRAMOS URBANOS DE CORRIENTES HÍDRICAS -CORREDORES AMBIENTALES URBANOS’ están constituidos por las zonas de protección de los ríos y quebradas , especialmente los que alberguen extensiones de bosques de galería y guadua que solo podrán ser utilizados como elementos del paisaje , espacio público cuando la normatividad ambiental lo permita y como reservas ambientales y paisajísticas”., señala la misiva.
“Si la constructora las Galias lleva a cabo el proyecto en la reserva del río Consotá existe el riesgo de afectación de las viviendas que podría provocar deslizamientos e inestabilidad a la propiedad horizontal de este conjunto residencial, semejante a lo ocurrido en el conjunto el Portal de La Villa”
Para propietarios y residentes del conjunto Altos de Tanambí, “lo que está ocurriendo viola las regulaciones del Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial; donde los daños ambientales pueden ser reparados, la fauna puede ser protegida y el pulmón de la ciudad puede mantenerse”.
