Los municipios sin casos activos para el virus iniciaron la solicitud ante el gobierno nacional para levantar el aislamiento preventivo obligatorio.
En Santa Rosa de Cabal ya se recuperaron los casos de Coronavirus y, hasta el momento, no hay cercos epidemiológicos ni muestras para el SARS-CoV-2 para el procesamiento de esta localidad.

Tras recuperarse las tres personas que semanas atrás habían resultado positivas para COVID-19 de Santa Rosa de Cabal, la Gobernación de Risaralda a través de la Secretaría de Salud certificará al municipio para iniciar la gestión ante el Ministerio del Interior con el fin de levantar el aislamiento preventivo obligatorio e iniciar apertura interna de sus actividades económicas.
“Podemos decirle a la comunidad del departamento de Risaralda que el municipio de Santa Rosa de Cabal ha hecho un trabajo importante en cuanto al control como tal de la propagación del COVID-19, los tres positivos que hemos tenido en este municipio han cumplido la cuarentena, han hecho el aislamiento, se les ha hecho el seguimiento médico y paramédico adecuado, las pruebas han salido negativas y hoy Santa Rosa de Cabal no tiene casos positivos; quedará en el histórico como que tuvo tres casos, pero hoy se encuentra libre de COVID positivo para el departamento”, expresó el Secretario de Salud de Risaralda, Javier Darío Marulanda Gómez.
El funcionario aseguró que, gracias al buen ejercicio sanitario de Santa Rosa de Cabal, sería el municipio 11 libre de COVID en el departamento.
“Es necesario explicar que varios de estos casos fueron positivos, no por un brote propio del municipio como tal, sino de la afluencia de los santarrosanos a municipios como Dosquebradas y Pereira que, aunque viven en Santa Rosa, trabajan en estos municipios y es importante tener el control de la entrada y la salida porque es un municipio que necesariamente se comunica con el Área Metropolitana”, aseguró el medico Marulanda.
A partir del momento, desde la Secretaría de Salud departamental con el Alcalde, Rodrigo Toro, y la Dirección Local de Salud de Santa Rosa de Cabal, se trabaja en un plan completo para que no solamente sea una Certificación como libre de COVID sino que operativamente el municipio continúe libre y pueda garantizarle a sus habitantes que no se vuelvan a contagiar.
