La especialista considera que los tapabocas de tela sí protegen contra el COVID-19 y este sencillo truco le ayudará a probar si su tapabocas de este tipo es efectivo.
“Soplar una vela o apagar un encendedor. Si el tapabocas, cuando usted sopla, apaga la vela quiere decir que por ahí puede pasar el virus”, indicó.
Añadió que lo único que cambia en esa prueba es que el virus no viene con la misma fuerza que un soplido.
“Cuando yo soplo estoy mandando presión. El virus no viene con esa presión. Le quitamos a esa discusión esa variable. No estamos metiendo el virus a presión. A nosotros nadie nos está estornudando en la nariz”, explicó.
De otro lado, Gutiérrez dijo que si los tapabocas de tela cumplen con ciertas condiciones como: doble capa y adhesión al rostro, son efectivos para evitar contraer el COVID
