En Mission Viejo, California, se desarrollará el evento mundial, donde los nadadores cafeteros tendrán presencia, con el objetivo de prepararse para los próximos XIX Juegos Bolivarianos 2022, en Valledupar, y los XXII Nacionales 2023, que serán en casa.
David Arias González es múltiple medallista en eventos nacionales y competencias de Ciclo Olímpico, y es firme candidato del departamento para los Juegos Nacionales del 2023.
El competidor que tiene habilidades en estilo mariposa compartió desde California sus expectativas.
“El ambiente y el clima acá puede ayudar. La idea es tener una buena participación, pasar a finales, estar en finales en un grand prix es de un nivel muy alto; entonces esperamos llegar a esas instancias”.
David Céspedes es otra de las joyas de la natación departamental, y será en Estados Unidos donde retome internacionalmente el camino de los altos logros.
Céspedes es especialista en los 100 y 200 metros espalda, y tendrá además de la salida a California, confirmada su presencia en los XIX Juegos Bolivarianos, lo que permite proyectar a la Liga Risaraldense de Natación, de una mejor manera.
“Este es un evento que se venía programando desde antes de pandemia, por obvias razones tuvimos que posponer. Todo es perfecto porque se acomoda a las cargas deportivas, al proceso que vamos llevamos y al proceso competitivo de estos dos deportistas que fueron convocados a Selección Colombia para los próximos XIX Juegos Bolivarianos”, compartió Alexandra Valencia Correa, presidenta de la Liga Risaraldense de Natación.
El evento que tendrá el acompañamiento de Carlos Triana, entrenador contratado por la Administración Sentimiento de Todos, cerrará el próximo sábado 4 de junio.
