Durante los días de cierre de operaciones por el paso del huracán Julia, 45 vuelos que estaban programados para operar entre el 7 y 9 de octubre fueron cancelados.
Después del paso del huracán Julia por San Andrés y Providencia, la Aeronáutica Civil informó que, a partir de las 12:00 p. m. de este domingo, se habilitó el sistema aeronáutico para la reactivación de los vuelos desde y hacia el archipiélago.
Según la Aeronáutica, la reactivación se da “luego de la verificación de los sistemas necesarios para garantizar la seguridad de las operaciones aéreas en los aeropuertos Gustavo Rojas Pinilla de San Andrés, y El Embrujo de Providencia”.
Balance de Cancelaciones
En total 45 vuelos que estaban programados para operar entre el 7 y 9 de octubre fueron cancelados por el mal tiempo que provocó el huracán Julia.
Según las aerolíneas, 6.864 pasajeros fueron reacomodados. Los operadores aéreos implementaron mecanismos de exoneración y reprogramación para los pasajeros afectados.
Se estima que entre el domingo 9 y el lunes 10 de octubre, cerca de 6.430 pasajeros salgan de la isla en 41 vuelos, y cerca de 7.000 viajeros lleguen en las próximas horas, en 43 vuelos.
La Aeronáutica Civil recomienda a los usuarios estar en contacto con sus aerolíneas para obtener información sobre cancelaciones y gestión de reprogramaciones.
