Luego de una extensa reunión en donde intervino la Defensoría del Pueblo, la Asociación Colombiana de Aviadores Civiles (Acdac) decidió dar por finalizada la huelga que duró 51 días y retomarán sus labores el próximo lunes.
Los pilotos agremiados a Acdac firmaron junto a la Defensoría un acta de seis puntos con lo acordado en la madrugada del viernes.
El capitán y presidente del sindicato, Jaime Hernández, aseguró que aunque levantan el cese de actividades, seguirán abiertos al diálogo para concretar un acuerdo que beneficie a los pilotos.
“Damos por finalizada la huelga, pero mantenemos las peticiones que se traducen en condiciones de seguridad aérea y el fin de la discriminación laboral en el holding”, señaló el capitán en un comunicado de prensa.
Por cada día de paro la aerolínea dejo de percibir ingresos de 2,5 millones de dólares y redujo su operación aérea hasta un 50% de su capacidad. Por su parte el mayor accionista de Avianca, Germán Efromovich se comprometió públicamente a no tomar represalias contra los pilotos.
