El Tribunal Administrativo de Cundinamarca decretó como respuesta a la grave crisis de medicamentos que se presenta en el país, la adopción de un plan de respuesta urgente para enfrentar esta situación, esto en medio de la demanda que interpuso la Procuraduría General de la Nación.
En las últimas horas, Droguerías Cruz Verde anunció mediante un comunicado que suspenderá la entrega de algunos “medicamentos, insumos y tecnologías No PBS de carácter ambulatorio” a los afiliados de la EPS Sanitas desde el 15 de noviembre de 2023.
La construcción de dicho plan se hará directamente por el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social y el Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos (Invima) y deberán implementar las medidas que buscan frenar la crisis que vive el país por el desabastecimiento de los alimentos.
El magistrado Luis Manuel Lasso Lozano ordenó en la decisión judicial que se adopten las siguientes medidas.
Asegurar la disponibilidad de los medicamentos priorizados por el Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social y de los demás principios activos que presentan una oferta insuficiente frente a las necesidades de la población.
Priorizar el trámite y resolución de las 27.904 solicitudes de registro de medicamentos que cursan ante el Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos, que se encuentran pendientes, para garantizar la disponibilidad en los canales institucionales y comerciales.
Definir las estrategias para facilitar el acceso a la materia prima requerida para la fabricación de medicamentos.
El Gobierno Nacional a través del Ministerio de Salud y el Invima, tienen 10 días de plazo para entregar el plan de respuesta urgente ante la crisis de medicamentos en Colombia.
