Con una programación académica, cultural y varios controles en diferentes sectores de Pereira, Dosquebradas y La Virginia, por parte de las autoridades de tránsito, se desarrollará la Semana de la Movilidad. Dentro de esta programación también se realizará el Día sin Carro, este martes 25 de septiembre.
Para ello, las autoridades que participan activamente en la organización de este evento que año tras año promueve el uso de medios de transporte alternativos como la bicicleta y los sistemas masivos, tienen todo preparado para que las jornadas se cumplan en orden y normalidad, del 24 al 28 de septiembre.
Entre las entidades que participan están la Alcaldía de Pereira, Instituto de Movilidad, Megabús, Área Metropolitana Centro Occidente, Policía Nacional, Concejo Municipal de Pereira, Carder, entre otras.
Entre las actividades de cierre están el Foro “Movilidad Sustentable Ambiente Sano, Convivencia y Desarrollo” y un Ciclo Paseo para que participen los ciudadanos junto a sus familiares y amigos.
En este importante foro se tratarán temas como la movilidad en Colombia, cómo construir ciudades para movernos en paz, movilidad urbana, y los retos y propuestas para la sostenibilidad urbana, entre otros.

Lunes 24 de septiembre: Apertura de la Semana de la Movilidad. Lugar: Plaza de Bolívar. Hora: 9:00 am a 2:00 pm
Martes 25 de septiembre: Día sin carro y sin moto. Campaña Al trabajo en bici. Hora: 7:00 am a 7:00 pm
Miércoles 26 de septiembre:Campaña Soy un motociclista ejemplar en la vía Lugares: Parque Guadalupe Zapata- Cuba y Calle 21 entre carreras 13 y 14 Parque Olaya. Hora: 10:00 am a 4:00 pm
Jueves 27 de septiembre:Campaña: Soy un peatón seguro en la vía. Lugares: Comuna Centro y Avenida del Río. Hora: 9:00 am a 3:00 pm
Viernes 28 de septiembre:Foro Movilidad sustentable, ambiente sano, convivencia y desarrollo. Lugar: Hotel Soratama. Hora: 7:30 am a 12:30 m
Cierre de la Semana de Movilidad. Evento central con todas las instituciones públicas y privadas que participaron en su organización. Campaña La Capital del Eje se moviliza en bici, toma de ciclobandas y ciclorrutas del Municipio. Lugar: Plaza de Bolívar. Hora: 2:00 pm a 8:00 pm
