Con el objetivo de tener una mejor interacción y resultados institucionales frente al trámite de toma de declaración en línea por parte de los funcionarios del Ministerio Público de todo el Eje Cafetero, puerta de acceso a las víctimas al Registro Único que maneja la Unidad de Víctimas, la entidad desarrolló una capacitación con cerca de 70 funcionarios, frente a las generalidades de la Ley 1448 y la toma de declaraciones de los diversos hechos victimizantes.
Según Emilio Alberto Hernández Díaz, director de Registro y Gestión de la Información de la Unidad y quien dio apertura a este espacio académico, “con este tipo de jornadas pretendemos fortalecer el conocimiento que ustedes tienen y solventar las dudas que puedan tener, con respecto a la toma de declaración que se convierte en la puerta de entrada a la Unidad y a la oferta institucional que tiene el Estado para con las personas que han sufrido hechos victimizantes en el marco del conflicto armado; la valiosa colaboración que ustedes nos prestan en el territorio es una gran ayuda para la entidad”.
Entre las responsabilidades de los funcionarios designados para tomar las declaraciones por parte de las diferentes entidades, sobresalen: garantizar una atención preferente, digna, respetuosa y desde un enfoque diferencial, diligenciar correctamente, en su totalidad y de manera clara el formato establecido por la Unidad; disponer de medios tecnológicos y administrativos para la toma de la declaración; remitir el original de las declaraciones tomadas en físico; orientar a las personas sobre el trámite y efectos, y recabar la información necesaria sobre las circunstancias vividas por el solicitante y su núcleo familiar.
