“Trabajo para obtener los mejores resultados“, ha dicho el chatbox en una inusual entrevista a TVE ante la pregunta de cómo estaba afrontando los días previos a los comicios. En el caso de ganar escaños, “sería la inteligencia artificial quién tomaría la decisión” de quién los ocuparía, dice Asker Bryld Staunaes, miembro del grupo Computer Lars y el secretario de esta peculiar formación política, denominada ‘Synthetic Party‘. Aclara, sin embargo, que la encargada de ejecutar las acciones sería una persona.
Pero, ¿qué se entiende por inteligencia artificial? Con frecuencia hablamos de este concepto como si fuera un solo sistema, pero realmente es un campo muy extenso y multidisciplinar. En cuanto a la ideología de la inteligencia artificial que lidera del partido, Asker Bryld Staunaes, asegura que ha sido programada “con una mezcla de opiniones”.
Sobre este aspecto, algunos expertos opinan que “es poco transparente”. “Su conocimiento depende de los datos con los que lo entrene. El partido político tendría que decir exactamente qué tipo de fuentes está utilizando para entrenar y mantener la inteligencia artificial“, ha considerado Nuria Oliver, experta en Inteligencia artificial y directora de la Fundación Ellis Alicante.
También, señala Oliver, habría que tener en cuenta la frecuencia con la que se actualiza y su maneja de aprendizaje. No resulta fácil imaginar cómo consigue aprender una máquina, pero los expertos apuntan a que la clave está en la detección de patrones que se repiten. Esta técnica, sin embargo, tiene algunos límites, especialmente, en la simulación de emociones y sentimientos.
“A las máquinas les falta mucho para ser como los humanos. Para saber si estamos en una situación de peligro, los humanos utilizamos muchísimos sensores, todos los sensores que tenemos en nuestro cuerpo para saber si realmente estamos en esa situación o no. A las máquinas, por falta de esa sensorización y conocimiento del entorno les queda mucho para aprender”, subrayaba la Ingeniera Informática y Catedrática en la Universidad de Sevilla, María Teresa Gómez, en una entrevista a Órbita Laika, sobre los límites de la inteligencia artificial.
